Logo uplift & change of focus from
"Marrouche" to "Rafic"; Sub Brand
name and logo creation; packaging

The company name was "MARROUCHE", but there happened to be another big competitor in the food industry that had the same last name, using it as the main brand for their family business. Both competitors were reaching success and opening more branches, so I was approached for a branding strategy.
Realizing that the names could not stay the same and that one of the two companies had to eventually make a move. At first, the company felt too attached to the "Marrouche" name and did not want to change it. So, I suggested we use the original first name of the founder "RAFIC" and keep the last name as a secondary part of the brand. The logo of the company looked similar to that of its competitor, so we made a slight adjustment to it, keeping the abstract shape, but making it look like a walking "M" rather than a chicken. Along with the slight adjustment, we continued with our suggestion and proposed the name change with a new logo focusing on the new name. We created a more modern, approachable look and feel, incorporating the chicken element to the first letter which would also be used as an emblem. We also kept the same color palette but changed the tone to be easier on the eyes.
